Ricky Martin’s nephew accused him of sexual abuse

The drama between Ricky Martin and his 21-year-old nephew first started in July this year.

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez accused the singer of incest. He further claimed that he suffered domestic abuse at the hands of Martin. Hence, the judge ordered a restraining order against the ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ artist.

Moreover, Sanchez claimed that Martin harassed him for months after their breakup.

Regardless, on 21st July, Sanchez asked for permission to withdraw the case via his attorney.

Nevertheless, following the dismissal, Martin shared a video on social media to address the news.

In the clip, he said, ‘It has been so painful. It has been devastating for me, for my family, for my friends, and I wouldn’t wish this upon anybody.’

Additionally, he continued, ‘To the person that was claiming this nonsense, I wish him the best and I wish he finds the help so he can start a new life filled with love and truth and joy, and he doesn’t hurt anybody else.’
