Ray J is sharing his side of the story about the controversial viral footage with former partner Kim Kardashian. He further revealed that the pair, Kris Jenner and Vivid Entertainment had a pre-planned deal to release the tape.
Back in 2007, the s*x tape of Ray and Kim went online while the couple was seeing each other. Following the controversy, the debut season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians was released. The series and the controversy more or less boosted the actress’s rise to fame.

Ray J decided to finally open up about the Kim Kardashian viral tape controversy as he talked with The Daily Mail.
The songwriter revealed many unknown facts about the controversy. He claims that Kim herself was responsible for releasing the tape back in 2007.
Ray further added that the other copy of the clip was with Kim. She stashed it along with other tapes inside a shoebox under her bed.

The hip-hop star further mentions that he did not participate in the publication of the clip. He alleged that the tape was filmed in a pre-planned deal between Kim and her momager Kris Jenner.
The 41 years old rapper continued that he suggested to Kim to release the clip. He suggested it after witnessing Paris Hilton catapulted to fame when her clip with Rick Salomon was published.

The infamous tape became the talk of the town once again earlier this year. Kim’s six-year-old son Saint encountered an ad for the ‘unreleased footage’ of the clip while he was playing Roblox.
The Skims founder was left devastated after the whole ordeal. She was seen crying her eyes out in the pilot episode of her new Hulu reality series, The Kardashians.
Another episode of the show featured her former husband Kanye West retrieving all the alleged copies of the video from Ray J.
Moreover, Kim stated to her attorney that she would ‘burn’ down anyone who will spread the tape once again.
Ray J was seeing the businesswomen from 2003 to 2006. He is the father to 3 years old daughter Melody and 2 years old son Epik which he shares with Princess Love.
The California native on the other hand is currently dating Pete Davidson. She filed for divorce from Kanye West last year.
