R. Kelly Case Update: All the Allegations and Punishment on Kelly Explained

Allegations on R.Kelly-

He has allegations of sex trafficking trial. He is accused of exploiting his stardom over a quarter-century to lure women and underage girls into his orbit of sex. There is a total of nine counts on him. He has been charged with one count of racketeering and eight counts of violating the Mann Act. Mann Act is a law that makes it illegal to transport any woman or girl across states for any immoral purpose. Kelly and his managers used to collect women from concerts and other places and then they offer them to travel to meet Kalley and they used them immorally. 

Allegations which proved right and others which are not yet proved-

There are around 9 hours of deliberations. According to the court, till now he is proved guilty on nine counts. The trials are done in Brooklyn Federal Court

. He has also been proved guilty of racketeering which includes kidnapping, forced labor, and bribery. Also, he is charged with eight counts of the Mann Act. There is a total of 14 counts under the Mann Act. According to the court, only 2 counts are not proven, the other twelve are proven against him. The other two allegations were about a girl who claim that Kelly took advantage of her in 2003. But this is not yet proved.

Years of Punishment-

According to proved crimes, R. Kelly has been prisoned for 20 years when he is sentenced on May 4. However, Kelly pleads to court for sex-related charges in Illinois and Minnesota. The court has given trial dates for this case. Earlier also, Kelly is charged with a child pornography case in 2008.

UPDATE: The jury has found R. Kelly guilty on all counts in his New York sex trafficking case.

According to Billboard magazine, he is one of the most successful R&B artists in history. In 2012, he is listed 55th best-selling music artist in the United States. But his bad deeds make him lost all his reputation.
