Tanner Cook was shot at a Virginia mall after his prank went wrong. Cook is a well-known YouTuber on the internet who is mostly popular for the pranks that he does on passersby. But it seems like his recent prank has gone all the way wrong and landed him in the hospital. But what exactly happened with Tanner Cook?

His pranks are what he does on passersby or people he comes across on the streets. Like Whether it’s a prank of taking rackets from tennis players or doing fake vomiting, he can do any prank. However, one of the recent pranks has landed him in trouble.

Although everyone has seen Cook doing a lot of pranks on people in his videos. His recent pranks took him to Dulles Town Center Mall, Sterling, Virginia. While Cook had to do his pranks on the people at the mall. His prank with a shopper just went all wrong.

Not getting that it was a prank, the shopper shot Tanner Cook. Which eventually injured him in his stomach and liver. Cook had to be hospitalized for his injury for that. Luckily, the YouTuber is alive and shared a pic of himself from the hospital.

Authorities take action against shopper who shot Tanner Cook

After Tanner Cook was shot by the shopper as the former’s practical prank went wrong. Authorities have taken action against the shopper who shot Tanner. Loudoun County officials have charged the shopper who shot Tanner with “aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm within a building”.

As per a statement to WUSA9, Cook said about the whole incident that the shopper didn’t take his prank “very well”. He said, “i was playing a prank and a simple practical joke, and this guy didn’t take it very well”. Moreover, the video that Cook was shooting at the time of the prank will now work as evidence in the investigation.
