Post Malone was recently denied entry to a rooftop bar in Australia because he did not meet the strict dress code of the establishment.

Here is everything you need to know.

Australian bar issues apology after refusing Post Malone entry

Billboard reported on 13th February Monday that Post Malone was denied entry to QT Perth over the weekend.

Moreover, they claimed that the rapper was refused to enter the swanky bar because the dress standards of the venue prohibit, ‘face, neck, and offensive tattoos.’

In addition, Malone stated to The West Australian, ‘They turned me away for my tattoos.’

He continued, ‘I have never really experienced anything like that.’

Meanwhile, the hotel issued an apology to Malone through Daily Mail Australia shortly after the incident.

They wrote, ‘At QT, we aim to welcome everyone and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.’

Additionally, they added, ‘QT has been recognized for this for many years. However, on Saturday night, our third-party security did not exercise the appropriate discretion and we take full responsibility for this. We sincerely apologize to the individuals affected.’

Besides that, the singer-songwriter was welcomed with open arms at a nearby rooftop bar that night. According to the Daily Mail, Malone seemingly bought drinks for fans at the bar.

Furthermore, the Rockstar singer concluded his final show with the Red Hot Chili Peppers on 12th February Sunday for a six-date stadium tour in Australia.

Why does Post Malone continue to ink tattoos on his face?

Post Malone opened up about why he remains to tattoo his face during an interview with GQ Style back in 2020.

He revealed, ‘I’m an ugly-ass motherf***er. It does maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look.’

Subsequently, he added, ‘So I’m going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, “You look cool, kid,” and have a modicum of self-confidence, when it comes to my appearance.’

The 27-year-old artist also talked about his appearance during an interview with People earlier this year.

He stated, ‘Yeah, but now I kinda look unique because I ruined my face. I might get a lot of bad-guy roles I guess. Because I look tough.’

Meanwhile, Malone made headlines last week following his performance in Sydney, Australia. A video of him drinking beer from a shoe of a fan went viral on social media. Moreover, the clip included instances of him acting strongly on stage while performing his set.
