A highly anticipated concert featuring Gucci Mane, Plies, Yung Miami, and Rob49 in Tampa has been reportedly canceled after Yungeen Ace was added to the lineup. According to a report by No Jumper, local authorities allegedly intervened and shut down the event due to concerns over Ace’s rumored gang affiliations. The concert was set to take place on Friday, September 20, but the sudden turn of events has left fans disappointed and speculating about the reasons behind the cancellation.

No Jumper shared what appeared to be an internal email from the venue, posted on Instagram, explaining the decision to pull the plug on the show. The venue expressed serious concerns about security, particularly in light of Yungeen Ace’s alleged ties to gangs, specifically ATK and KTA. These affiliations are rumored to be linked to recent violent incidents in the area, including the murder of Julio Foolio, a Jacksonville-based rapper, which occurred near the venue. The email stated, “You may know that Julio Foolio was murdered right up the street from us and we’ve been made aware that Ace is rumored to have gang ties to the group that was involved with the shooting. We’re concerned about security around the venue and in the area seeing how recent this all happened.”

The email also emphasized the venue’s responsibility to inform the University of South Florida (USF) police of any potential risks related to Ace’s appearance. It explained, “There’s also a duty we have to USF to make their police aware of the information if Ace is indeed coming.”

In the weeks following Foolio’s death, Yungeen Ace has found himself at the center of various headlines. In one instance, a leaked snippet of a song remixing Cash Cobain’s hit, “Problem,” appeared to show Ace dissing Foolio and his mother. Ace reportedly rapped lyrics that many interpreted as disrespectful: “They mad at me that n**a died that’s not my [problem]… When his mom got hit with that sht that wasn’t my [problem].” The controversial lyrics fueled speculation of deeper animosity between the two artists, although Ace later downplayed the rumors of ongoing tension.

In July, Yungeen Ace took to Instagram Live to offer condolences for Foolio’s death, despite the earlier controversy. He expressed sympathy and downplayed any accusations of personal involvement in the incident, hoping to quell rumors of an ongoing feud.

The decision to cancel the concert due to Ace’s presence has raised questions about the extent of the security risks associated with his rumored affiliations. While many fans are disappointed by the cancellation, others understand the concerns raised by the venue and local authorities.

At this time, neither Yungeen Ace nor the concert organizers have publicly commented on the cancellation. As more information comes to light, fans are eagerly awaiting further updates regarding Ace’s involvement and the future of the concert lineup.
