Pikamee parts ways with talent agency following Hogwarts Legacy stream controversy

Pikamee, the famous VTuber after facing backlash for streaming Hogwarts Legacy has decided to leave VOMS. The announcement about the same came recently and it has shocked all her fans. Well, Hogwarts Legacy itself has been in the headlines for some reasons not good. While now Pikamee for streaming the same has decided to leave VOMS.

Despite fans loving the Harry Potter series in any form so much. The game based on the wizard world of Harry Potter titled the Hogwarts Legacy is in controversy and it’s all because of the Harry Potter series author J.K Rowling. Well, Rowling has been in controversy for her comments on trans people that surely weren’t acceptable to many.

The last thing Pikamee tried to do was play Hogwarts Legacy, and got absolutely brigaded by terminally online activists for it. After going dark for a few weeks, she decides to completely stop streaming.

Netizens believing Rowling to be transphobic for the same reason have been left divided now on the fate of Hogwarts Legacy. As the game is making all think if they can buy it or not. That could benefit Rowling the fact that she’s been making comments about trans people.

As the game Hogwarts Legacy comes under the radar of all of the comments of J.K Rowling on trans people in the past. Some of the steamers too came on the radar of all for the game. As recently VTuber Pikamee went on to stream the game on its release. However, that hasn’t gone well with many.

With the launch of the game on 10th February 2023. Everyone was already having a debate on the future of the game in the context of J.K Rowling’s controversy. While now after VTuber Pikamee came to stream the game Hogwarts Legacy. She has been facing backlash for the same on social media.

Recently all the fans of VTuber Pikamee were left shocked when they came to know that Pikamee has decided to leave the VOMS. Not to forget, Pikamee was signed with VOMS, the talent agency. Her decision to leave the agency came only after she faced backlash for the Hogwarts Legacy controversy.

VOMS on Twitter came along to announce the same saying “We regret to inform you that Amano Pikamee, a member of our group, will graduate from the group and terminate her activities as of March 31, 2023.

Reacting to her decision Pikamee said, “I’m so sorry for shocking you guys like this”. Adding further she said, “Despite all the sad things, i still have a month left, so i hope we can have a lot of fun times”.
