Pete Davidson Faces Reckless Driving Charges Following Beverly Hills Car Crash

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office verified to ABC News on Friday that former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson was charged with careless driving in March. According to the DA’s office, Davidson faces a single misdemeanour complaint for reportedly driving his vehicle into a Beverly Hills residence. The DA’s office stated, We believe It was Davidson’s reckless driving that ultimately caused him to collide with a house. Fortunately, no one was critically hurt in the accident. Fortunately, no one was critically hurt as a consequence of the crash. The date for Davidson’s arraignment has been scheduled on July 27. Convictions for careless driving can result in a $145-$1,000 fine and/or a 5-90-day county prison term.

Davidson is presently starring in the Peacock streaming comedy “Bupkis.” He portrays a fictionalised version of himself in the programme. Last month, the actor was scheduled to return to the “SNL” stage as a host to promote his new programme, but the episode was cancelled owing to the commencement of the Hollywood writer’s strike. Davidson was driving with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, in Beverly Hills’ Flats neighbourhood earlier this year when the incident occurred. TMZ reports that the comedian lost control of the car, leading it to leap the curb, smash a fire hydrant, and slam into the side of a neighbouring home. When police got on the site, an inquiry was launched. Davidson was not detained, and no drugs or alcohol were suspected to have played a part in the collision.

Davidson was driving with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, in Beverly Hills’ Flats community earlier this year when the incident occurred. In December 2022, they went to a hockey game together while Davidson was still linked to Emily Ratajkowski. However, after only two months of dating, the pair called it quits.
