Orlando Brown is taken into custody under the charges of domestic violence. However, his recent arrest caused him to lose a role in a movie. Moreover, the gig was apparently arranged by Brown’s alleged victim.

Orlando Brown loses a movie role due to domestic violence arrest

Orlando Brown was arrested on 22nd December for misdemeanor domestic violence.

According to reports, the Lima Police Department received a call about a fight in progress between two men on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the alleged victim, Matthew Sanders is serving as director and producer in a movie titled, ‘Up The Score.’ 

Furthermore, he offered a role in the movie to Brown as he considers the former Disney alum to be extremely talented.

Sanders reported to TMZ that Brown has been residing at his home in Ohio since November when the preproduction of the new film began.

Although Brown has gotten himself into multiple legal troubles over the years, there was no major trouble between him and Sanders during the Thursday incident.

Meanwhile, Sanders reported that Brown approached him with a broken-off knife blade and a hammer on Thursday. 

Moreover, he suspects that Brown is struggling with mental health. In addition, he said that Brown sometimes appears to be out of touch with reality. 

Sanders added that he is upset that he was not able to help Brown to make a comeback.

According to TMZ, Brown was roped in to appear as a secondary character in the movie. 

Consequently, the film is a dramedy about a military person who exchanges messages with someone on social media. He later goes on to leave his family for that particular person but later learns that they are not who they originally said they were.

Sanders revealed that due to the incident Brown will no longer be allowed to stay at his place. Also, he is currently axed from the movie.

Besides that, Sanders pointed out that he would consider reinstating Brown in the film only if the actor treatment to help his mental health.

Many fans of Orlando Brown took to social media to share their disappointment over his recent arrest.

One user mentioned, ‘I can’t believe this happened in teeny ass Lima, Ohio of all places.’

Someone else noted, ‘Yes! I had no idea he was such a short guy. I am wondering what he was doing in Lima of all places.’

Meanwhile, the film is scheduled to begin filming in January. Hence, it is currently not possible for Brown to join them.
