The Ohio train derailment carrying toxic chemical has been making all concerned as clouds over Ohio appears. Well, the Ohio train derailment made headlines as it was carrying some toxic chemicals. The incident came to be known on 3rd February 2023. However, later the toxic chemical clouds over Ohio made all to be concerned about it.

On 3rd February 2023, the train traveling from Illinois to Pennsylvania suffered derailment at around 9 pm. The derailment happened due to overheating in the wheel bearing which caused a mechanical problem. However, it was the chemicals that were the main reason for concern.

Out of 150 train freight carriages, twenty were carrying hazardous items. The crash involved 50 carriages, and ten of them were having the toxic item. The aftermath of the incident has further created some buzz on social media.
Toxic chemical clouds appear over Ohio
After the train derailment took place, worried authorities thought there might be some explosion due to toxic items. However, five of the carriages of the train that was carrying Vinyl Chloride were removed. Not to miss, vinyl chloride is a toxic item used in plastic manufacturing.

As authorities went on to empty chemicals into a trench. They went on to burn some chemicals in a controlled amount which created a toxic chemical cloud to appear over Ohio. This has made all react the same. As the smoke cloud has made me all too concern about it.
Netizens concerned over toxic cloud
After the train derailment in Ohio, we had the burnt chemicals create smoke clouds appear in the air. Post which netizens have been concerned over it. Thinking the toxic chemicals in the air may be bad for the health of all.
The pics showing the black clouds have been going viral on social media. Some of the netizens even went on to blame Biden’s administration for not looking into the matter.
The EPA for checking the air quality has been going on to find if the place is safe for residents to live in or not. Not to forget, too much exposure to Vinyl Chloride is taken to be dangerous that can cause liver cancer and many other diseases.
