Odell Beckham Jr. faces assault allegations

According to the news, Odell Beckham Jr. is listed as one of the suspects in an assault investigation. Moreover, a woman claimed that he assaulted her at an undisclosed hotspot in Los Angeles weeks before signing his deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

Odell Beckham Jr. denies assault allegations

The police revealed to TMZ Sports that a woman alleged that Odell Beckham Jr. grabbed her throat with light pressure at Delilah several weeks before.

Moreover, a representative for Beckham Jr. said that the cops have not contacted them yet in relation to any assault allegations. 

In addition, they have vehemently denied the allegations against the NFL superstar.

As per sources, Beckham Jr. and the woman were both present at the venue but without any incident on the night of the alleged altercation.

Besides that, John Terzian, the owner of Delilah, revealed that law enforcement has gotten in touch with them in relation to the incident. However, he believes that the accusations are incorrect.

He said, ‘We were contacted about an investigation and reviewed the videos, the claim is false. There is no evidence of this person even being in the area where she claims the incident occurred.’

Odell Beckham Jr. signs a lucrative deal with Baltimore Ravens

It was announced earlier this month that, Odell Beckham Jr. is all set to play as the newest star wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens after signing a whopping $18 million one-year deal.

Additionally, the ex-New York Giants receiver opened up about his one-year deal with Ravens at his introductory press conference in Baltimore.

He said, ‘This is a team that has great talent all across the board – offensive line, running backs, receiving room, defense is great.’

He continued, ‘It boiled down to, I’m at a place in my life where it means a lot more to be wanted. They showed that they wanted me to be here. Not to say that no one else did, but they believed in me. I’m going to come here and put my best foot forward every day.’

Subsequently, Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta shared that Beckham Jr. is back to his best after he sustained a second serious knee injury in the last three years.

He stated, ‘We saw everything we needed to see, knowing that it’s going to just improve.’

He went on to explain, ‘When a guy has a serious injury, in general, it only gets better. It may take time. Sometimes it takes longer, but it only gets better.’
