The great kickboxing champion who comes from New Zealand, Alapati Afoa passed away on 30th November 2021, Tuesday. The news was shocking for his fans and loved ones as they are full of grief. The news came first by Style Bender as he announced it on social media along with a video. In the video, there was one of the Alapati’s matches and captioned it by writing that this moment will mortal in his memory. Additionally, he expressed gratitude by saying that legacy comes on the shoulders of brave fighters who will fight without worrying about the result.

Alapati Afoa, 43-year-old, who belonged to New Zealand and was famous as a kickboxing champion passed away on Tuesday. The real name of the popular boxing figure and mentor was Pati Afoa, but famous as The Arsenal, Afoa. Despite being famous and loved by all, the boxer’s information is not listed on Wikipedia. He worked as a Sports sales director at Wailife Limited. Fans were devastated and sharing their grief on social media when the news came out.
According to the recent post on Alapati Afoa’s Instagram profile, he mentioned two girls who baked mouth-watering carrot cake to make him smile. He had 2958 followers on his Instagram profile. When he was suffering from a disease he launched a campaign with MND Association in collaboration so that together funds can be raised for researching the lethal disease he was fighting with. Alapati mentioned his campaign on his Facebook Profile and requested people to help him in raising funds for the cause by purchasing t-shirts that say US V/S MND and joining hands with him.
What Was The Cause Of Alapati Afoa Death?
According to the reports, Alapati Afoa was fighting a battle with a disease for the past 3 years. The famous kickboxer champion was first diagnosed with the disease in 2018 December after facing some symptoms. The lethal disease was motor neuron disease. After acknowledging the disease, Afoa was rushed to the hospital for the treatment process. But he came to know about the fact that it was an expensive treatment. The MND Disease is a rare condition that hits the brain and complete nervous system of the person. Due to this, weakness in the body enters and gets worse with time.
Alapati Afoa’s body parts were paralyzed and he was helpless to use a wheelchair to move as he could not bear the expensive medical treatment, as per the reports. Alapati was forced to stick to a wheelchair because of his inability to move. The champion was unable to recover from the illness and this was the cause of his death. The disease has no cure till now, and for this, he tried to start a campaign to research this illness and its cure. There are medical treatments as of now for reducing the pain and symptoms of the illness that is expensive. The kickboxer has won many honors and will always be a legend and in memory of his fans.
