Noah Schnapp, known for his role as Will Byers in ‘Stranger Things,’ faced criticism from fans for engaging with provocative stickers during the Israel-Hamas crisis. The 19-year-old actor recently sparked controversy, facing criticism for his social media activity and comments related to the conflict. The dispute began when Schnapp shared his concerns about the ongoing violence in the region, expressing fear over the continued bloodshed. His statement received mixed responses, with some expressing support for his concerns while others criticized it. The controversy intensified when he liked a video that was critical of Muslims and offensive to the LGBTQ community, sparking a backlash against him.

In a new video that has now gone viral, Schnapp can be seen laughing while recording a group of buddies wearing stickers that say ‘Zionism is hot’ and ‘Hamas is ISIS.’ He was publicly condemned for his behavior after the video provoked widespread indignation. The current crisis in Palestine, which began in October when Hamas launched an attack on Israel, has resulted in a devastating loss of life on both sides. Twitter users expressed their anger and frustration on the network. Some condemned Schnapp for being insensitive and even encouraging Palestinian oppression. Others criticised the striking discrepancy between their treatment of those who openly endorse Palestine and the penalties they face, in contrast to Schnapp’s apparent unregulated behaviour.

Actor Noah Schnapp Facing Controversy For Promoting ‘Zionism Is Sexy’ Stickers

“Stranger Things” star Noah Schnapp is facing cancellation after being photographed in a restaurant with stickers that read, “Zionism is Sexy.” The Jewish-American actor, well known for his role as Will Byers on the Netflix television series Stranger Things, was shown in an Instagram video smiling with friends while holding up the stickers, some of which said, “Hamas is Isis.” Schnapp can be seen sitting at the table, filming the group as they made ridiculous expressions and were photographed with the various stickers. Zionism is a phrase used to describe the Jewish nationalist movement that began in 1897 and eventually led to the establishment of Israel in 1948 as a result of the Holocaust. The video sparked widespread outrage on the social media platform X, formerly referred to as Twitter. “A Twitter user commented that he is no longer at all surprised by this, as he is simply looking forward to the end of his career at this point.” “Seeing these wealthy individuals with huge smiles on their faces while they support a genocide from the ease of a cute little coffee shop is horrible,” another person said.

Another source projected that Schnapp’s future career would consist of tiny supporting roles before eventually fizzling away. “”People like him should not be able to succeed at the expense of millions of people,” the person said. One person said, “Noah Schnapp can be a pro-genocide & Islamophobic public figure on one hand, and claim to be frightened as a Jew on the other, while individuals are being branded terrorists and are detained over just saying free Palestine on the other.” Others said Schnapp’s actions had discouraged them from viewing the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things.” Schnapp posted a powerful message in favour of Israel on Instagram last month. Over 1,000 civilians died in Hamas’s assault against Israel on October 7 that led to his statement that he was “heartbroken.”. In the post, Schnapp mentioned his Jewish roots and expressed sympathy with the country in the aftermath of the horrific incident. The actor admitted his desire for peace between Palestinians and Israelis but maintained that people should not pick sides on this topic.
