Noah Cyrus revealed a long number of misconceptions including the belief that she had an impenetrable shell against hurtful remarks. Yet she acutely felt the effect of those insults shouted at her even from across a computer or phone screen. “I believe what’s strange about people on the Internet is that they think that if you have a well-known last name, whatever they say to you won’t hurt your feelings, and whatever they say about you won’t get to you or harm you,” she told tmrw.
