Nijisanji English VTuber Scarle Yonaguni, known for her work in the popular virtual entertainment world, found herself in a puzzling situation when her Twitch account was banned despite never having streamed on the platform. Scarle, a member of Nijisanji EN’s sixth generation known as ‘Iluna,’ is part of a group that also includes Maria Marionette, Kyo Kaneko, Aia Amare, Aster Arcadia, and Ren Zotto. Her main streaming platform is YouTube, where she’s garnered a dedicated fanbase.

However, Scarle Yonaguni did have a Twitch account, though she had only ever used it for interacting in chat rooms during a “party” session. She had never officially streamed on the platform, making it all the more shocking when she received notice of an indefinite suspension.

of the email she received from Twitch. In the message, Twitch informed her that her account had been reviewed and was being globally suspended for violating their policies. The platform went on to cite the “severe nature” of the alleged violation, noting that she had supposedly committed “multiple violations” on the platform, which led to the indefinite ban.

Despite the baffling suspension, Scarle took the incident lightly, updating her followers on X (formerly known as Twitter) with a humorous tone. She pointed out the absurdity of being banned despite having “not streamed a single day” and rarely using her account at all. She mentioned that her manager was investigating the issue, and speculated that the suspension might have been tied to the “Twitch chat party” she participated in, jokingly adding: “No more offline hype trains, chatto!”

Fans were quick to respond to the situation, with one joking that Scarle had completed the “banned with no stream speedrun.” Others suggested that the ban might have been caused by fans gifting subscriptions to her inactive Twitch account, an idea Scarle admitted could be plausible.

Fortunately, the mystery of the ban was short-lived. Scarle’s manager was able to resolve the issue with Twitch, and her account was reinstated on the platform. However, there has been no further explanation as to why the suspension occurred or how it was ultimately resolved.

For now, Scarle Yonaguni can once again access her Twitch account, though it remains to be seen if she’ll actually make her streaming debut on the platform.
