Netizens Slam Kanye West After His Lawyers Want To Quit

Kanye West’s lawyers are reportedly using newspaper ads to end their relationship with him since the rapper’s whereabouts remain unknown. West’s former business manager Thomas St. John said he had been unable to find the controversial rapper for weeks to serve him a lawsuit, causing fears he was missing. After being spotted at a church service earlier this month, rumours that the rapper had gone AWOL were cast into doubt. In an attempt to remove Ye from their client list, West’s former legal team has published newspaper ads in Los Angeles newspapers.

The Greenberg Traurig Law Firm is taking a “multi-pronged approach” to locate West, according to legal documents seen by AllHipHop. According to the documents, Ye will also be informed of the Withdrawal Order when the contents are published in two Los Angeles newspapers, where he appears to reside. Considering Ye’s status as a public figure, the publication of the Withdrawal Order is likely to garner significant media attention, which will result in broader publication and provide a greater chance for Ye to learn about it. West was previously represented by Greenberg Traurig against Ultra International Music Publishing, but the firm dropped West due to antisemitism concerns last year. Kanye West-inspired neo-Nazi memorabilia was reportedly sold online in December 2022, though no evidence exists that West was involved in designing or selling the items.

There was no surprise at the turn of events and many suggested he should retire. As a result of his anti-Semitic tirades, netizens commented sarcastically that he would “blame the Jews for everything.” One even stated that he had hit “rock bottom.” Twitterati also suggested Kanye West’s legal team quit, with one user Ellie stating that they made the right decision. According to another, watch him blame the Jews. According to a third user, people no longer want to side with him. Several people distanced themselves from Kanye West, including his management team, who condemned his bigotry behaviour. GT handed him the documents, letting him know they would no longer represent him. Analisa Torres, a federal judge, stated on November 30 2022, that the firm cannot withdraw as his counsel unless she issues an order allowing them to do so. At this point, Kanye stopped responding to their texts, according to the law firm.
