The country star Mitchell Tenpenny and his long-time girlfriend Meghan Patrick got engaged recently.
Meghan who is also a singer-songwriter posted photos of Mitchell proposing to her at Losers Bar and Grill in Nashville. It isn’t some ordinary bar, Mitchell and Meghan met each other for the first time in this bar.

Meghan posted a series is photos on Instagram showing off her engagement ring and captioned it as – “4 years ago I walked into the backroom of @Losersoriginal bar, straight out of tree stand in full camo…that was the first time Mitchell and I ever set eyes on each other, and tonight, I walked in and he asked me a question”.
The singer also added that the place couldn’t be more perfect and it was obviously a yes.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Mitchell Tenpenny revealed that he wanted to propose for a long time and now that both their families were in Nashville, the timing and place were perfect.
Mitchell Tenpenny also revealed that before proposing he asked Meghan’s father for his blessings.
In the same interview, Meghan said that she somehow knew Mitchell was going to propose with their families being together but she never thought he would propose this way.
“This is the most perfect engagement I could have ever imagined,” the songwriter said.
The “Telling all my secrets” singer revealed that it was an emotional moment for both of them and he was nervous before popping the question. However, when he popped it, both couldn’t help but cry out of joy.
The couple often share pictures of each other on Instagram and fans were definitely waiting for them to get married. Mitchell also wrote a song about Meghan, “I can’t love you anymore” explaining that he already loves her so much that it can’t be any more.
