MetLife Stadium in New Jersey has issued a warning for the fans who wish to attend Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour on Memorial Day weekend. They are asking fans to not come to the venue if they don’t have tickets.

Here is everything you need to know.

What is the warning MetLife Stadium has issued to Taylor Swift’s fans?

Fans of Taylor Swift have received a warning from New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. Moreover, the singer is expected to perform her Eras Tour shows at the stadium on Memorial Day weekend.

In addition, Swift is slated to deliver back-to-back shows starting from Friday to Sunday. Thus, it is believed that thousands of her fans hailing from the Tri-State area might show up at the show.

However, MetLife Stadium took to their social media account on 25th May Thursday to issue a warning to the fans. They declared that anyone without a ticket will not be able to enter the parking lot.

They wrote, ‘To be clear, do not come to MetLife Stadium if you are not in possession of a ticket to the Taylor Swift concert. Our parking lots and public transportation will be at maximum capacity and are only for guests who have tickets.’

They continued, ‘Tickets must correspond to that evening’s show. Violation of MetLife Stadium policies may result in ejection from the property and being banned from attending future events.’

Meanwhile, the warning comes after there have been a couple of instances in the past where ticketless fans gathered in crowds at the parking lots of the stadium where Swift is performing.

For instance, 20,000 Swift fans who did not have tickets to her Eras show at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Stadium had gathered in the parking lot.

Besides that, a similar incident was reported when the 33-year-old artist performed at the Gilette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts last week on 19th, 20th, and 21st May.

Fans react to MetLife Stadium announcement

Although the announcement from MetLife Stadium did not receive much backlash, some fans still expressed their disappointment for being unable to tailgate at Taylor Swift’s concert.

A fan wrote, ‘This is so disappointing. There are so many fans who couldn’t get/can’t afford tickets, and the only way we were going to experience the concert was in the parking lot.’

Someone else chimed in to say, ‘So astronomically depressed about the closed parking lots.’
