Taylor Swift has received a severe warning from Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend. Maya Benberry alleged that “the man that [she] known him to be when [they] dated” is an unfaithful one amid the stars’ growing romance. “Taylor seems to be such a delightful girl with an attractive spirit, so I wish her the very best of luck, yet I wouldn’t consider myself to be a girls’ girl if I did not encourage her to be smart!” Benberry, 31, told DailyMail on Tuesday — despite having previously “liked” a comment dubbing the pop star a “5.” “I’m sure by now she has perfected the ability to recognise who is truly there for her as well as who is just using her.” The marketing and brand consulting expert, who dated the Kansas City Chiefs player for a few months after winning his E! reality dating programme “Catching Kelce” in 2016, hopes Swift “comes out the teacher in this scenario and not the student.”

“Only time will tell,” she continued, “but like the saying always goes: Once a cheater, always a cheater.” During the interview, Benberry did not elaborate on her claims, although she previously appeared to accuse Kelce, 33, of cheating on her with his next girlfriend, Kayla Nicole. “When both you and your ex separated five months ago, yet you find out on social media that your ex has reportedly been in another relationship for six…” she wrote in a tweet that has since been removed. From 2017 through 2022, the two-time Super Bowl winner dated Nicole, 31, on and off. Though he never officially addressed Benberry’s charges, after a brief breakup in 2020, he denied being adulterous to the sports broadcaster.

Kelce got his own d ating show, Catching Kelce, on E! in 2017. The premise of the show was similar to The Bachelor in that Kelce was paired with 50 women from all 50 states in the United States. Benberry was declared the winner. “It’s been the wildest roller coaster of my life,” Kelce stated at the conclusion. “I am extremely excited to be with Maya & to watch as we improve as a couple in addition to seeing where our relationship with each other can go.” They had just been together for eight months, but Benberry mentioned the strange way it ended in a new interview. Maya Benberry discussed advice she would give Taylor Swift in an interview with DailyMail UK. “Taylor seemed like an exceptionally fun girl with an excellent spirit so I wish her the very best of luck although I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I did not warn her to be smart!” She replied. “I’m confident by now she has cultivated the ability to recognise who really appreciates her – versus who simply uses her.”

Benberry went on to say that she can only offer counsel on “the man I knew him to be when we dated.” “Only time will tell,” she advises the Midnight artist, “but as the saying goes, once a cheater, always a cheater.” Maya Benberry apparently claimed in screenshots of deleted tweets obtained by The Shade Room that Travis Kelce was in another relationship while they were still dating. Kelce has not verified or denied whether the allegations were genuine. In 2017, he began a relationship with Maya Nicole. Following some Instagram chats, the two began dating. Kelce and Swift, 33, were rumoured to be “hanging out” earlier this month after he tried – and failed – to offer her his phone number via a friendship bracelet during her “Eras Tour” stop in Kansas City in July. This weekend, the Grammy winner was photographed attending his football game with his mother and afterwards getting “very affectionate” with him at the team’s afterparty, which appeared to confirm their romance.
