Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, the dynamic Hollywood combination, are returning. Affleck and Damon will reconvene for a yet-to-be-titled sports marketing film, according to ET. Ben Affleck will direct and Matt Damon will co-star. On the script, the two will collaborate with Alex Convery. Ben Affleck will be directing Matt Damon in a full picture for the first time.

“The remarkable story of how Sonny Vaccaro, a maverick sneaker salesperson, led a nascent running shoe company called Nike in its pursuit of the most revolutionary athlete in the history of sports: Michael Jordan,” states the logline for the untitled film. Matt Damon will play Vaccaro, who tries to persuade Jordan to sign a contract with Nike in the mid-’80s. What appeared unachievable at the time evolved into one of the most successful athlete-athletic brand partnerships ever.
