Unresponsive Madonna Is Rushed To The Hospital, Intubated In The Intensive Care Unit
Page Six can exclusively confirm that Madonna was discovered unresponsive and was transported to a New York City hospital on Saturday. According to reports, the 64-year-old “Material Girl” singer was intubated for at least one night before having the tube withdrawn — and she is now conscious and recovering. Her daughter Lourdes Leon is also said to have been by her side during the ordeal. Guy Oseary, Madonna’s longtime manager, revealed on Instagram on Wednesday that his client had contracted a dangerous bacterial illness, necessitating a several-day hospitalisation in the intensive care unit. While a source tells us that the Queen of Pop is now “out of the ICU,” Oseary clarified in his statement that “she is still under medical care.” “A full recovery is anticipated.” The “Express Yourself” singer recently celebrated her 10-year-old twins Estere and Stella from primary school. “Two Kweens!!!!” “Happy Graduation!” she posted last Wednesday on Instagram, accompanying a photo of the girls, each of whom carried a bouquet of flowers and donned a blue cap and gown.
Madonna revealed earlier this year that she would embark on her “Celebration” tour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her music career. According to Oseary’s Instagram post, the 84-date tour was supposed to start on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, but it has been cancelled as a result of the health scare. Additional details, including a rescheduled tour start date, will be released as soon as we receive them.” he concluded. Madonna’s tour was supposed to begin in Europe on October 14 before returning to North America on December 13 and lasting until January 30, 2024. The Grammy winner has promised to play her best songs from her self-titled debut in 1983 through her 2019 album, “Madame X.” “I am eager to try out as many songs as possible in the hopes of giving my fans the show they have been anticipating,” she stated in a January statement to Page Six. Madonna’s most recent tour, from September 2019 until March 2020, was in support of “Madame X.” Her Sticky & Sweet Tour, which took place from August 2008 to September 2009, is still the highest-grossing tour ever undertaken by a female artist.
