WWE veteran Kevin Nash has voiced his discontent over Logan Paul’s reported $5 million salary for his part-time appearances in the wrestling world. In response, Logan Paul has fired back, making it clear that the feud is not part of any scripted storyline, but a genuine dispute between the two.

Logan Paul, who first gained fame as a YouTuber, has quickly risen to prominence in WWE, captivating fans with his athletic performances. Despite wrestling only on a part-time basis, Paul even managed to capture the United States Title and has been praised by some of wrestling’s biggest names, including Roman Reigns and Hulk Hogan. However, not everyone in the industry shares the same enthusiasm.

Kevin Nash, a former WWE and WCW champion, expressed his frustration with Paul’s lucrative contract during his podcast, Kliq This. Nash pointed out a moment from Paul’s recent interview with Hulk Hogan, where Logan seemed unfamiliar with the wrestling term “shoot.” The term refers to an unplanned or unscripted moment in wrestling, and Paul’s confusion sparked Nash’s ire.

“Where would he learn that sh*t at?” Nash asked. “Where’s he going up and down the road talking about our jargon? In the building? You don’t become one of the boys just because you’re around them.” Nash didn’t stop there, criticizing Paul’s large paycheck despite his limited in-ring appearances, especially in comparison to full-time wrestlers.

“For what I heard, he’s making like $5 million bucks for a fcking limited, and those other motherfckers are out there making house shows? F*ck you. That’s from the boys,” Nash ranted. His frustration seemed rooted in the disparity between Paul’s part-time schedule and the grind that full-time wrestlers endure.

Logan Paul didn’t take Nash’s comments lightly and responded on social media. He emphasized that the beef is “not a work,” meaning Nash’s grievances aren’t part of any WWE storyline. In his response, Paul fired back, saying, “Who is Kevin Nash? I’m not as versed in wrestling as maybe I should be, as my peers are, but then how am I so much better than all of them?”

He went on to suggest that if he committed himself to wrestling full-time, he could be even more successful. “I don’t even do it full time. Imagine if I devoted, became one of the boys, learned what the difference between a ‘shoot’ and a ‘work’ is. F* me? F

* you.”

Logan didn’t hold back, taking a shot at Nash’s career. “You’re one of the old guys that is bitter I am better at your job than you ever were. I will continue to make guys like you eat your words.”

While Nash’s criticism is clear, Logan Paul has expressed interest in increasing his WWE commitments. In fact, Paul revealed that he’s in talks with WWE executive Triple H about stepping up his schedule in 2025, doing live events, and becoming more of a “workhorse” for the company.

With WWE rumored to return to more edgy content as it moves to Netflix, it will be interesting to see how Paul’s role evolves. Whether Kevin Nash’s opinion of him changes remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—Logan Paul isn’t backing down from his critics anytime soon.
