Lindsay Joseph is a Canada-based tattoo artist who has recently come under fire online for her obscene charges at Lucid Tattoos.
Moreover, Joseph’s backlash comes after a disappointed customer shared their experience at her studio online.
In addition, the customer also revealed the prices the owner charges for her consultations as well as sketching.
Internet users on the other hand were left shocked to learn about Joseph charging such an absurd amount. Hence, this led to the controversy of receiving the name ‘tattoo gate’ on social media.

Nevertheless, the drama stemmed from when a Tik Tok user detailed her appointments with Joseph on her account.
Additionally, the user claimed that Joseph was charging around $200 only for consultation.
Meanwhile, a Twitter user said that Joseph is charging around $1500 for her cheapest design with only one minor change allowed for the customers.
Besides that, in the other option, the customer must pay an amount of $3500 for the design. However, they will be allowed to make two changes in the concept along with a couple more other changes.
The last option was to pay $6000 which enabled the customer to get multiple sketches as well as recreations.

Social media users were left baffled by Lindsay Joseph’s prices. Additionally, they shared sympathetic comments to the customers who have paid such ludicrous fees.
Subsequently, many users went on to call her business a ‘scam.’
