While dissing each other isn’t uncommon in the same industry, many have been surprised to see Lil Pump dissing Joe Budden. However, his social media posts are certainly going viral now.

Lil Pump, the popular rapper, is piquing everyone’s curiosity with his recent social media post that is connected to Joe Budden. On January 23rd of this year, Pump took to his Instagram story to share posts dissing the rapper-turned-podcaster Joe Budden.

In his first post on Instagram story, he wrote, “F**k Joe Budden 43 years old drug addict”. Adding more to it he wrote “Woman [beater you’re] worthless go hit a man not a woman”.

In another Instagram story post, he continued to call out Budden. In one post, he shared a mugshot of Budden from his previous arrest, while in the other, he included a screenshot of an article about Budden apologizing after sexual assault allegations were made against him.

Why did Lil Pump diss Joe Budden?

While the recent Instagram post by Lil Pump shed light on what the rapper was criticizing Joe Budden for, netizens have been confused as to why Lil Pump dissed the podcaster. There has been no major beef between them in the past.

Meanwhile, back in 2017, Pump did cosign Migos’ “Ice Tray” single, which is known for taking shots at the podcaster. Not to be missed, Joe Budden made headlines when he was accused of sexual assault years ago by Olivia Dope, a DJ and former host of the Joe Budden Network podcast, “See, The Thing is.”

Joe Budden and the allegations against him

It came as a shock some years back when Olivia Dope accused Joe Budden of sexually harassing her during one of the podcast episodes’ recordings. This eventually made Dope’s claims go viral on social media, prompting Budden to react.

Budden eventually apologized to Olivia for his conduct. In his statement, he said, “I apologise sincerely to Olivia, her former co-hosts, our staff, and the public. In an effort to not further any trauma, the episode will be removed from all platforms. We support all women’s rights to feel comfortable, and protected in the workplace”.
