Baby mama conflict appears to be brewing at the same time as POWER BOOK II: GHOST actor & recording artist LightSkinKeisha celebrates her 29th birthday and announces her pregnancy with rapper/fiancé Coca Vango. Keisha returned to Instagram Live just days after displaying her baby belly with her three million Instagram followers, in a couple of lengthy sessions during which she explicitly addressed charges made by Vango’s former Lay—with whom he had a pre-teen daughter. Lay had already accused Keisha of sleeping with Vango’s brother, so there is clearly some enmity there. Lay’s comments this time seemed to be directed primarily at Vango, whom she accused of being an unreliable and “deadbeat” father to their daughter Melia.

While Lay’s complaints appeared to be centred on Vango, who supposedly hadn’t seen his daughter since March and allegedly barred her from entering his home due to a fight with her mother, Keisha took it upon herself to address them. “Why did you do this when we announced I was pregnant?” Keisha wondered. Keisha went on to say that the foundation of Lay’s problems with Vango are all centred in her resentment that her relationship with her child’s father didn’t work out and that he’s now moving on with someone else. Keisha goes on to claim that the only reason she decided to publicise the entire event on IG Live was because Lay allegedly complained about her to Vango’s sister and mother in the aftermath of her claims against him.

LightSkinKeisha Slams Fiancé Coca Vango’s Baby Momma & “Deadbead” Dad Allegations

LightSkinKeisha provided “my man, my man, my man” energy when she jumped to her fiancé’s defence online on Tuesday (Sept. 5). The rapper lashed back at Melia, Coca Vango’s first kid and daughter. Lay, the mother’s Instagram handle, called Coca a “deadbeat” father in a series of Instagram Stories posts on Tuesday. Coca Vango, she claimed, hadn’t seen their daughter since March. The pre-teen supposedly found out about his father’s unborn second child through a buddy who viewed the announcement on Instagram. LightSkinKeisha & Coca Vango revealed their first kid together on Monday night, as previously reported. The “Pop Dat” rapper released a carousel of prenatal photographs on her Instagram profile, and Vango followed suit shortly after. In addition to not seeing Melia, Lay claims Coca Vango barred the girl from his home following an argument between her parents. Yesterday, after their pregnancy was announced on social media, his mother/my daughter’s grandmother randomly emailed to see if she was okay.” Lay said. “My daughter is 11 years old, and she will turn 12 in November, so she is fully aware of everything that is going on. Because of this, her feelings are hurt…” She went on to say that Vango hadn’t contacted his pre-teen when she asked to speak with him about the pregnancy announcement. Melia allegedly requested that her grandma convey the message, and Vango allegedly stated that he would call when he returned to Atlanta.

It’s unclear where Coca Vango had gone, but it’s worth noting that the pregnancy revelation coincided with LightSkinKeisha’s 29th birthday. “How can he publicly express excitement about an unborn child when he has a child here and chooses when he wants to be present in her life?” Make sense, but this is your favourite motivational speaker, lol.” Lay responded. In a subsequent post, she stated that Coca Vango is “so mad that he can’t control [her] & tell [her] what to do.” Lay, on the other hand, stated that she will not allow him to “keep playing” in front of their daughter. She additionally shared earlier Vango tweets about Melia, implying that he has changed and lacked the same energy. “One thing about deadbeats is that they’re going to have more children,” Lay wrote. As Lay’s rage gained traction, LightSkinKeisha took to Instagram Live to respond with a few clapbacks of her own. Despite the fact that neither lady mentioned the other, LightSkinKeisha’s webcast occurred after Lay’s accusations. “Everyone must become mature and stop lying, and that’s it.” People must become mature and start acting as women do. Be a grown woman when it comes to yours.” On the edge of spilling, the rapper stated, “I’m not a felon; I got a clean record.” She begins to mention a car but pauses herself, concluding her remark with “We’re happy.”
