Lauren Southern: YouTuber slammed for her transphobic comment against twitch streamer
4 min readLauren Southern, a Canada-born alternative privileges political activist, as well as a YouTuber reportedly, said the twitch streamer, who gets on by the name Keffals on Twitter, that she won’t be “a woman”. Obtained a lot of objection online after she formulated a transphobic statement against a transgender twitch streamer.
In her now-deleted tweet to Keffals, Lauren Southern had reportedly let out, “Ratios won’t bring you a woman :-).” This reportedly reached after Keffals had called out another twitch streamer Steven Kenneth Bonnell II, also popular online as Destiny, on Twitter by inscribing, “hey steven I just took out your major source of earnings please leave me alone and end taunting trans people for the topic,” and Southern had replied below that, “Oh wow trans supporters cleansing and eliminating the earnings of people who barely disagree with them? Wow, this conviction is giving rise to me loving the online trans community more! Incredible activism.”

After Lauren Southern’s declared critical tweet, a lot of people blasted her with one saying, “Keffalas is better of a woman than you’ll always be. I think it was you who said that women lose their significance as they get older… Time is thumping for you, Lauren. You understand you don’t live up to your standards.” Another one inscribed, “Lauren I cannot overstate how pitiful it is that you evaluate ‘haha trans women aren’t women’ a banger tweet, that’s like some status 0 transphobes. I know you realize you can do better.”
After the backlash, Lauren Southern, who has over 140k supporters on Instagram, began to protect herself by expressing, “You missed the sense. Those who commit censorship and demolish people’s earnings because they had a sudden controversy over trans problems are weaponizing their insecurity about their gender individuality.
Oh wow trans advocates censoring and destroying the income of people who slightly disagree with them?

Wow this sure is making me love the online trans community more!
Wonderful activism 🙃 https://t.co/8QrsZnRTUD
No proportion of censorship, cry bullying or ratios will give rise to them feeling better.” She also added: “Deleted a banger of a tweet to overcome the gathering report. Will live to protest another day. Enjoy this moment with all the censorship strength while you can 😊 we all understand it won’t always survive x.”
But her explanation did not work as a reviewer tweeted, “It’s foolish how they relate to you yelling their transphobic bullshit as censorship And a while bothering because that implies they don’t understand what censorship means…” “it’s so joyful to ratio people into receiving mad and seeing them nearly renounce their account because they can’t allow a transsexual to own them,” Keffals pointed out.
A person instructed Lauren Southern, “Lauren, attend the guidance of experts. 4 out of 5 shitposters approve to log off as a norm to avoid being ratioed.” The second one mentioned: “You’re a dumbass who looked at it and instantly enlisted one aspect of why they’re transphobic like you.”
Whether that’s true or not, that’s nonetheless no explanation to hurt the feelings of someone’s individuality. That’s like naming a black person an n-word because they did something wrong. Then again, you do look like the type of a person that would have no trouble with that either,” a tweet read.
Keffals is more of a woman than you'll ever be

time is ticking for you, Lauren. You know you don't live up to your own standards. https://t.co/lM1jis06SL pic.twitter.com/Y8DD3DZazq
Lauren I cannot overstate how pathetic it is that you consider “haha trans women aren’t women” a banger tweet, that’s like some level 0 transphobia. I know you know you can do better

It's funny how they refer to you calling out their transphobic bullshit as censorship
— Rinthiel (@rinthiel) March 24, 2022
And a bit worrying because that means they don't know what censorship means…
Honestly so embarrassing that these people literally think that posting "lol ur not a woman" is a banger tweet.

Bruh, whether that's true or not that's still no excuse to disrespect someone's identity. That's like calling a black person an n word because they did something immoral.

Then again, you do seem like the kind of person that would have no problem with that either.
