Who Is Lauren Pefferle?

Lauren reportedly operates at Mabel Rush Elementary School as a special needs aide.

On September 17, 2021, the 41-year-old allegedly organized a demonstration wearing blackface against the vaccination obligation. She had held positions at the institution’s Teaching Resource Center.

Apparently, Lauren “darkened her face with iodine,” claiming she resembled Rosa Parks, according to the Newberg Graphic story. In the meantime, district spokeswoman Gregg Koskela claimed during a news meeting on Monday, September 20 that no students had seen the event.

The Whole Incident

Rosa Parks, a school employee in protest of a mandatory vaccination mandate for all district employees turned up to work Friday, Sept. 17, in Blackface at Mabel Rush Elementary School in Newberg.

One of the first people to disclose information on the event was a colleague at the institution. They identified the victim as Lauren Pefferle, a special education assistant the district declined to identify since it was a personnel concern. According to a district announcement, Pefferle was in suspension indefinitely. It’s vital to keep in mind how Blackface has been utilizing to hurt and defame Black communities. Several Twitter users have weighed in on the Newberg school’s Blackface episode. Accusing Lauren of being a bad role model for youngsters. Many others are seen calling for her permanent expulsion from the institution.

Another person chimed in, saying, “Lauren Pefferle does not reflect the opinions of hard-working American professors. For the most part, we take our responsibilities very seriously. At a news conference in Newberg, Oregon, police chief Joe Morelock said: “This certainly has shocked, angered, and humiliated me. As it has virtually everyone else on the team. This flies in the face of everything that the NSD and the vast number of its employees have stood for, and it’s certainly disgustingly disrespectful.
