Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, served First Lady vibes at the Met Gala this year.
The 66 years old momager revealed that her outfit for the Monday evening’s event was inspired by a classic American style icon.
The dress code of this year’s star-studded event was ‘Gilded Glamour’ to match the theme of ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion.’
Met Gala 2022 was held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on 2nd May.

Kris Jenner arrived at this year’s Met Gala in Oscar de la Renta gown and completed her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
As per the theme, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum paid homage to the glitzy American fashion era with a one-shoulder silky yellow gown. She paired them with white gloves and a Judith Leiber clutch.
The star swapped her signature pixie cut for a black bob wig. She revealed that she wanted to go glamorous, chic, and easy at this year’s glitzy event.
Consequently while talking with E!, the media personality shared, ‘I’m just kind of channeling a little Jackie Kennedy tonight.’

Fans could not help but compare Kris Jenner to the former first lady Jackie Kennedy. They took to various social media platforms to share their expressions.

Some users on the other hand criticized her outfit and did not check the ‘Gilded Glamour’ theme of the event. They pointed out that her inspiration for the yellow gown was from the wrong decade.
