Over the years, Katy Perry has worked with many artists, and Ice Spice is now on her radar. “Teenage Dream” singer recently announced that she wants to work with a 23-year-old rapper. As part of a recent interview, Buzzfeed asked Perry, “Which up-and-coming artist would you like to collaborate with? Her quick response was “Ice Spice,” and then she sang along to her hit “Boy’s a Liar, Part 2. Ice Spice has become one of the biggest names in hip-hop since the release of her breakout song, “Munch (Feelin’ U).” She also achieved her first top-three Billboard Hot 100 spot with “Boy’s a Liar Pt 2”.

She continued her successful year by peaking at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 with a remix of “Princess Diana” with Nicki Minaj. Even though Ice Spice has not yet responded to Perry’s comment, a collab between the two would not be out of the question, especially since Ice Spice is currently working on her debut album. According to Billboard, she will release a deluxe edition this summer. She recently told Billboard that she will release a deluxe version of the album in the summer. Yes, of course. Keep an eye out for that. It’s on its way. The songs I’m making are awesome. I think loving and having fun is the most important part. It’s a given that people will say, Okay, she’s here to stay.
