As Katy Perry travels across the pond for King Charles’ upcoming coronation, she will be temporarily replaced on “American Idol.” According to Luke Bryan, several “big time” Hollywood stars will be filling in for Perry and Lionel Richie, who will take the stage at Windsor Castle on May 6. This is a big deal. According to the country star, it’s a big deal. Contestants have used the songs of the people filling in many, many times. That’s a lot more than mine! Taking a break from judging might be a good thing for Perry, who has recently been criticized for overly critical comments about the show’s contestants.

After criticizing Nutsa Buzaladze’s bedazzled outfit choices during a recent “Idol” performance, the hitmaker was booed by the crowd. Although Perry attempted to defend herself, this was not the first time the “Dark Horse” singer irritated fans. Perry had received flak only one month before for “mom-shaming” candidate Sara Beth Liebe, a 25-year-old mother of three.

As A Result Of Drama, Katy Perry Has Been Replaced On “American Idol” For A Temporary Period Of Time
Katy Perry is slated to be replaced on ‘American Idol’ for a time by a “big-time” singer. In May, both she and her “American Idol” co-star Lionel Richie will perform at King Charles’ coronation concert, and Luke Bryan has promised fans that new big-name replacement acts will appear on the show. Katy Perry and Lionel, both 73, will play at the much-anticipated Windsor Castle performance. And Katy recently stated that she is “so grateful” to have been asked to perform at the next event. In addition to being an ambassador for one of the monarch’s organizations, the pop sensation is looking forward to attending the event. Katy Perry told ExtraTV about her invitation: It was very regal, like a cursive I’d never seen before. It was fantastic. It was a beautiful ceremony, and I am so grateful to have been chosen as an ambassador for the British Asian Trust, which focuses on ending child trafficking, which is an issue of national importance, and which fits perfectly with my values. I’m also a UNICEF ambassador. And as a mother, I know firsthand that these helpless youngsters require assistance. So I’m simply going there as an ambassador, and they asked me to perform, and everything fell into place. Fans asked that Perry apologises to contestant Wé Ani last week after the judge appeared to ignore the hopeful’s eerie performance of Adele’s “Skyfall” because she was surprised by America’s choice to reject other singers.
