It appears like Kanye West is ready to finalize his divorce from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian after he hired an expensive divorce lawyer.

Kanye West is finally taking legal action to settle the divorce from Kim Kardashian
According to a recent report by TMZ, Kanye West has hired divorce attorney Robert Stephan Cohen to represent him in his divorce case with Kim Kardashian.
If you didn’t know, Cohen is one of the most high-powered divorce lawyers in Hollywood. He handled several celebrity splits including the divorce of Melinda Gates and Chris Rock.
Reports also claim that West, who now goes by the name Ye, has filed for a ‘declaration of disclosure.’ This document is typically filed when a divorce case is close to being settled.
Moreover, the documents revealed that the 45-year-old star has sent his financial data to Kardashian.
In addition, Cohen is the sixth lawyer the Donda rapper has enlisted ever since the Skims founder filed for divorce in November last year.
West has been without a legal representative since early August. His fifth attorney Samantha Spector asked to be relieved from the case.
As per Rolling Stone, Spector cited the reason to be a ‘breakdown in communication.’

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are battling over their children’s custody
Recent reports have stated that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are disagreeing on the custody of their four children.
The former couple share 9-year-old North, 6-year-old Saint, 4-year-old Chicago, and 3-year-old Psalm.
Additionally, earlier this month West mentioned that he is not willing to ‘compromise’ when it comes to his kid’s education.
He said, ‘Right now we’ve come to a compromise. But I’m not finished because I don’t compromise. But we’ve come to a compromise that my kids come to my school after school and they learn choir.’
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old reality star currently has 80 percent custody of their children. She is reportedly no longer in direct contact with West amid his recent concerning behaviour.
A source revealed, ‘They have had zero communication in several weeks. All communication regarding the kids’ schedules are now coordinated through assistants.’
They further claimed that The Kardashians star, ‘felt it was best to end the marriage when she realized she could no longer help someone that didn’t want to be helped.’
