Justin Bieber has postponed yet another scheduled performance as he continues to recover from Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

The pop star’s face is partially paralyzed due to the rare disorder which is keeping him sidelined from events this summer including Summerfest.

Bieber was supposed to perform at the two-day Milwaukee music festival next Friday.

Here is everything you need to know.

Justin Bieber postponed his Summerfest concert amid his illness

Justin Bieber’s tour promoter AEG Presents released a statement on Thursday to confirm that his Summerfest performance will be postponed in the wake of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

The statement goes as, ‘In light of Justin’s ongoing recovery, the remaining US Justice Tour shows scheduled for June and early July, including at Summerfest at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee, WI on Friday, June 24, 2022, will be postponed.’

The postponement also includes his shows on 2nd July and 3rd July as per Los Angeles Forum.

The officials further gave a brief update on Bieber’s health, ‘Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible, is upbeat about his recovery, and is looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing for his fans overseas later this summer.’

In simple terms, the Canadian musician’s Summerfest show is not canceled and will happen at some point. However, a date is yet to be decided.

Fans who had already purchased tickets for Justin Bieber’s Summerfest concert will be honored for the rescheduled date.

People who have previously purchased tickets will receive a Summerfest general admission ticket digitally. It will be valid any day of the festival this year.

Since that announcement, the Sorry hitmaker has postponed his Justice tour dates in New York City and Philadelphia. He also canceled multiple shows in Toronto, Canada.

A statement by Bieber on Thursday suggests that he had called off shows that were slated for the rest of June along with early July.

Justin Bieber is suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome

Justin Bieber revealed that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome last week in an Instagram post.

The artist shared that the right side of his face has been temporarily paralyzed due to the virus.

Nevertheless, in a Sunday Instagram story, Bieber showed a positive attitude over his recovery from the disorder.

The Ghost singer’s wife Hailey Bieber also shared about his recovery in an interview with Good Morning America.

She said, ‘He’s doing really well. He’s feeling a lot better and obviously it was just a very scary and random situation to happen.’
