The Bieber family just got a little bigger! Pop superstar Justin Bieber and model Hailey Bieber have officially welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber. The exciting news was shared by Justin on Instagram Friday evening (Aug. 23), as he posted a heartwarming photo of his newborn son’s tiny foot alongside Hailey’s hand, beautifully manicured as always. Accompanied by the caption “Welcome Home, Jack Blues Bieber” with a bear cub emoji, the announcement quickly captured the attention of Justin’s 293 million followers.
This joyous moment arrives a little over three months after Hailey, 27, publicly confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram back in May. At the time, she was just over six months along. In the months that followed, Hailey openly shared her pregnancy journey with her fans, even gracing the cover of W magazine. Reflecting on her experience, Hailey explained that she initially considered keeping her pregnancy private but ultimately decided to share the news at six months. “I probably could have hid it until the end, but I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly,” she shared. “I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
Hailey also opened up about the emotional journey of becoming a mother, particularly how she cherished the time she had with Justin before their lives changed forever. “In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me,” she told W. “Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’ I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.”
