JoJo Siwa reveals producers’ request for her to contact Abby Lee Miller during the filming of Dance Moms: The Reunion.

JoJo Siwa, former reality star and now singer, has revealed that producers urged her to “call” Abby Lee Miller during the filming of Dance Moms: The Reunion. Siwa, along with five of her former castmates, reunited for the episode aired on May 1, which notably excluded some key figures from the original series.

During the reunion, JoJo Siwa addressed the absence of Miller and other cast members, including Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler and Nia Sioux. Siwa then disclosed that producers attempted to involve Miller in the reunion by asking Siwa to call her during filming.

On her podcast JoJo Siwa Now, Siwa alleged that producers engaged in “shady s**t,” including encouraging her to revisit her past feud with Chloe Lukasiak. Siwa explained that only she, Kalani Hilliker, and Kendall Vertes maintained any form of relationship with Miller, while the others had severed ties with their former dance teacher.

JoJo Siwa firmly refused the producers’ request to call Miller, citing discomfort for both herself and Miller, as well as the emotional trauma experienced by her fellow castmates who had severed ties with Miller. Siwa expressed concern about putting anyone in a potentially uncomfortable situation and emphasized the real trauma experienced by those whose lives had been impacted by Miller’s departure.

The singer’s refusal to comply with the producers’ request highlights her commitment to respecting the emotional well-being of herself and her former castmates. PinkNews has reached out to a representative of Lifetime for comment on the matter, indicating interest in the network’s response to Siwa’s allegations.

JoJo Siwa’s revelation sheds light on the behind-the-scenes dynamics of reality television production and the ethical considerations involved in navigating sensitive personal relationships for the sake of entertainment. As Dance Moms fans await further developments, Siwa’s stance serves as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing emotional well-being over sensationalized drama.
