John Cena calls himself a “hypocrite” over his feud with The Rock during Wrestle Mania time. Both Dwayne Johnson and John Cena have been great in the ring and outside the ring as well. While both are now a part of the Fast & Furious franchise. Their feud during the time of Wrestle Mania was known to all. However, John Cena thinks about the whole thing differently now.

While fans of them are excited to see them share screen together in the movies. There was a time when the rivalry of the duo was in the limelight. Both The Rock and John Cena during Wrestle Mania days would indirectly comment on each other. However, it seems like things have changed now for John Cena.

John Cena calls himself a “hypocrite” over the Wrestle Mania feud with The Rock

John Cena over his old feud with The Rock recently broke his silence. It was while a conversation on Happy Sad Confused that John Cena was talking about his feud with The Rock and how thinks about the whole thing now.

Cena said, “I got selfish and me living WWE at the point and not having any concept of growth or someone else’s perspective- i took Dwayne’s comment [about the business] as not genuine”. John Cena believed that Dwayne’s approach to be “selfish and short-sighted”.

What else did John Cena say about his feud with The Rock?

John Cena realized that his take on the comments of The Rock could have been different. As he said, “My view was, if you love something, be there everyday. What a hypocrite I’m, because I still love WWE and i can’t go all the time. And i just didn’t see that, i was so selfish”.

It seems like John Cena is finally thinking his feud with The Rock wasn’t needed. As he believes they could have solved the differences privately rather than taking it to the public. Although, despite everything that rests in the past, the fans of both Cena and The Rock are keenly waiting to see them share the screen together soon.
