It all began after Ari Lennox had been a part of Rod Wave’s Nostalgia tour. Regarding this, she complained, stating it was “the worst tour of [her] f**king life.” Not only that, but during the same tour, someone threw a water bottle at her, leaving her really angry.

Joe Budden, commenting on Ari Lennox’s experience, said she should have been grateful for the opportunity instead of complaining about it. This eventually sparked a verbal spat between Joe and Ari. In response to his comment, Ari called Joe a “failure” and even threatened to sue him.

Joe Budden apologizes to Ari Lennox

As the tiff between Ari Lennox and Joe Budden began after the latter commented on Ari, the American singer didn’t hold back from calling out Joe Budden. She threatened to sue him, calling him obsessed with her. This eventually led Budden to issue apologies to Ari.

In the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden said he wanted to “wrap my good sister Ari Lennox in warmth, love, and prayer.”

He added, “In a[n] industry that has historically not been great to women, now is not the time for any woman out there to feel like they are under attack, unheard or not seen. And if I’ve ever added to that, then I want to do my best to change the trajectory”.

Though Joe Budden apologized to Ari Lennox in the recent podcast episode, it seems like Joe Budden still had a lot to criticize Ari for, as he also called her a “bag of mixed nuts.” Budden claimed Ari tried to “demean and defame” him.

He added, “This chick is a bag of f###### mixed nuts. Mixed nuts come from everywhere”. The podcaster continued saying “This b#### is all the nuts combined and I think she’s done a great job of proving the exact point that i was trying to make in the last broadcast, and we shower her with love”.
