As former US President Donald Trump gears up for the presidential election in 2024, he has been keeping himself in the headlines for various reasons. Recently, Trump took to his Truth Social page to post about Jimmy Kimmel hosting this year’s Oscars.
Trump wrote in his post, “Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars? His opening was that of a less-than-average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be.” Kimmel himself shared Trump’s post even at the Oscars.

As Jimmy Kimmel hosted this year’s Oscars event, he delivered plenty of jokes on stage that were hard to miss. However, he didn’t miss the opportunity to exact revenge on former US President Donald Trump for the latter’s post on Truth Social about Kimmel’s Oscars hosting.
Jimmy took a jab at Trump by reading out the former US president’s post about him hosting this year’s Oscars. In response, Kimmel asked the audience to guess which former president posted this. He then revealed Trump’s name as well.
The Oscars host said, “Thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching.” He added, “I’m surprised you’re still up – isn’t it past your jail time?” Upon hearing this, the crowd present broke into laughter.
