Here is everything you need to know.

Jane Fonda announces break from acting

Jane Fonda sat down for a 30-minute on-stage interview with Robin Roberts at the Tribeca Film Festival held in New York City on 10th June Saturday.

In addition, she went on to reveal that she is taking an 18-month break from acting ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

She said, ‘Let’s get rid of the Joe Manchin’s. We need to try to light a fire under Biden and look, we have to vote for him, ok?’

She continued, ‘We have got to get really mad at him and we have to try to demand that he earn our votes.’

Subsequently, she stated, ‘But I mean, let’s be real because the alternative is the end of everything.’

Fonda mentioned that it is ‘up to us’ to make changes and tackle the climate crisis before it’s ‘too late’ for the next generation.

Besides that, Fonda’s admission comes after she was honored with the Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award by Alicia Keys at the annual film festival.

Fonda is recognized for political activism. It seems like she is planning to concentrate on it for the foreseeable future.

Also, she will most likely specifically give her attention to including people in office who support taking action against climate change.
