Jane Fonda sat down for a 30-minute on-stage interview with Robin Roberts at the Tribeca Film Festival held in New York City on 10th June Saturday.
In addition, she went on to reveal that she is taking an 18-month break from acting ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
She said, ‘Let’s get rid of the Joe Manchin’s. We need to try to light a fire under Biden and look, we have to vote for him, ok?’
She continued, ‘We have got to get really mad at him and we have to try to demand that he earn our votes.’

Fonda mentioned that it is ‘up to us’ to make changes and tackle the climate crisis before it’s ‘too late’ for the next generation.

The 85-year-old Book Club star outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘On the complete opposite extreme of the last film I recommended, To Leslie, here’s another new one that took me by surprise: RRR, an Indian movie that’s shortlisted in the Best Foreign Film category.’
