According to court documents, Jamie Foxx has been accused of sexually assaulting a lady in a New York restaurant. According to the woman’s case, which was filed in the New York Supreme Court on Wednesday and obtained by PEOPLE, the event occurred in August 2015 at Catch NYC. According to the alleged victim, Jane Doe, she entered the venue and saw Catch Hospitality Group co-founder Mark Birnbaum and Foxx, 55, whose real name is Eric Marlon Bishop, seated “one table away” and having drinks. Doe claimed that at about 1:00 a.m., she & a friend attended Foxx’s table and requested a photograph with the Academy Award winner. He allegedly answered, “Sure baby, anything for you,” and then took “several photographs.” According to the lawsuit, Foxx “seemed intoxicated.”

She alleges The Burial actor told her, “Wow, you have that supermodel body”, “You smell so good”, and “You look like Nickie.” Foxx responded, “Gabrielle Union,” when she asked who Nickie was. He then allegedly grabbed her arm and dragged her to the back of the rooftop. According to the court statement, after she and Foxx were in a private area, he “placed both of his hands around her waist, slid them under her ‘crop top,’ and started to rub her breasts.” She claimed she tried to take a step away from him and saw a security guard “some distances away who witnessed what was taking place but moved further away.”

Jamie Foxx Sued By A Woman Named Jane Doe For Sexual Assault That Allegedly Took Place At NYC Restaurant

Jane Doe is suing Jamie Foxx, alleging that the “Blame It” singer sexually assaulted her in a New York City restaurant in 2015. A Jane Doe claimed in court records acquired by The Post that she observed Foxx, 55, sitting at an adjacent table at Catch NYC & Roof in August 2015. Her pal allegedly requested the “Django Unchained” star for a picture at about 1 a.m., to which he allegedly answered, “Sure, baby anything for you.” The trio posed for many shots, and Foxx, who seemed to be inebriated, allegedly added, “Wow, you have that supermodel body,” “You smell so good,” He said and compared the woman to Gabrielle Union. The woman claims Foxx took her arm and led her to the back of the rooftop, where he placed his hands beneath her blouse and grabbed her breasts. Foxx then allegedly moved his hand into her pants and placed his fingers on and in her vagina and anus. According to the woman, Foxx came to a halt when her friend realised what was going on.

According to the lawsuit, one of Foxx’s security guards and numerous other individuals witnessed what was happening but turned away despite the fact that she was clearly in agony. The woman claims that other individuals, including security guards, watched the alleged assault and merely walked away despite watching her try to flee the “Ray” star. She is requesting a jury trial as well as compensatory and punitive damages. The plaintiff is suing Foxx and the dining establishment for compensatory and punitive damages, asserting she had to “undergo medical treatment as well as advice, had no ability to pursue her normal and regular activities” and will “perpetually be impacted by the injuries and psychological trauma she suffered as a result of the sexual assault, abuse, assault, and battery.” Although Foxx has yet to formally announce his relationship with Alyce Huckstepp, the couple was photographed kissing in public while shopping in Los Angeles in September. The Oscar winner said in his 2021 memoir, “Act Like You Got Some Sense,” that he never considered himself “the marrying type.”
