According to the outlet, the pair are, ‘different places.’
The couple had been in a long-distance relationship with Davidson filming his upcoming movie Wizards! in Australia, while the 41-year-old star is in her Los Angeles home.
A source has claimed that the duo decided to take a break due to their hectic schedules ‘made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.’
However, the insider mentioned that the former pair still have ‘a lot of love and respect for each other.’
Moreover, another source mentioned that one of the other reasons why Kardashian and Davidson decided on a mutual breakup is because of the things they are looking for at the moment.
They revealed, ‘Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.’
The Kardashian actress was reportedly also ‘totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life’ as she have to manage her business, her reality television series, and kids.

A source told E! News that Kardashian and West ‘are in a really great place.’
They are on communicating terms with each other to co-parent their four children: North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians actress showed her support for the rapper’s fashion brand, Yeezy.
She outlined an Instagram post with a caption that read, ‘YR 3022 YEEZY SHDZ.’
The SKIMS founder was wearing a black leather catsuit with her four-year-old daughter, Chicago dressed in a similar all-black outfit.
A source told E! News, ‘Kim was happy to be asked to be a part of the campaign with the kids and to support Kanye in this way. But it’s not a sign of them getting back together.’
