With TikTok’s new “how a memory sounds” trend that uses the echo filter Effect, Internet users are participating in the trend. Social media users mostly use the trend to reminisce about nostalgic memories that bring them joy. Using the new filter, they are uploading videos that reflect their emotions.

TikTok trend “how a memory sounds” was created originally by user @tubwrrld. There have been more than 10 million views of their video on the video-sharing platform. A video of an old movie and the music that plays in the background are often paired with this trend. In addition, an echo voice effect is added in the back, which encourages people to participate.

Video clips that depict sentimental moments in people’s lives are being echoed with the echo effect. There are various types of memories, such as concerts, graduations, vacations, pets, and childhood.

How can you make a TikTok trend with the echo effect?

Step 1: Open the TikTok app.

Step 2: Open the app’s camera by clicking on the ‘plus’ button.

Step 3: To upload content, users must click the ‘upload’ option found in the bottom right corner. From there, users can select their nostalgic videos.

Step 4: Choose the ‘next’ option.

Step 5: Select the ‘voice effects’ on the right-hand side of the app. The ‘Echo’ effect option is then available by scrolling down to the bottom.

Step6: The final step involves selecting ‘Sound’ in the bottom-left corner and selecting a sound to play in the background.

Most people like to use Original Sound by Dorianpianist. There are other piano sounds on the market as well. A person needs to locate a video that uses the aforementioned sound and then tap the sound button. Once this is done, they then tap the button that says ‘use this sound’.

We recommend adjusting the volume of the video clip and song before uploading them via the ‘sounds’ tab.

Along with the “how a memory sounds” trend, Celine Dion has also taken over the platform. Lip synching is performed to the singer’s song It’s All Coming Back To Me Now in the latter. Uploading videos has become very popular, with people wearing gowns or using bed covers.
