A year and a half after beginning their relationship, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are engaged. On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, the couple announced the great news on their respective Instagram accounts.
“Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me,” the musician shared on Instagram. Kelly and Meghan’s emerald birthstones and precious diamonds are set on thorn bands so that the two halves of the same soul from the obscure heart that is their love. Stephen said the tradition is one ring, but they designed it to be two: one with an emerald (Meghan’s birthstone) and the other with a diamond (Kelly’s birthstone).
The news is another chapter in Megan and MGK’s love story, which began when they revealed their relationship publicly in June 2020.
Megan Fox And Machine Gun Kelly’s Relationship Timeline
Their relationship went from being a minor part of the film to be a major part of award shows, vacation destinations, and even interviews when they became an instant couple on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. Following the COVID-19 shutdown, they grew closer as a result of spending time together.
After seeing each other grab a takeaway meal together in Calabasas in May 2020, romance rumors first circulated. In addition to being photographed without her wedding band, Fox was rumored to be separated from her husband, Brian.

The couple was spotted together at the UFC 260 event in Las Vegas at the end of March 2021. They debuted at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards on the red carpet in May 2021. As of May 26, 2021, Kelly hinted that she and Brandon have been dating for about a year.
During their appearance on GQ Style’s October 2021 cover story, Fox and Kelly opened up further about their relationship. “We have an intense relationship,” Fox said
The couple decided to ring in 2022 with a ring on New Year’s Day, as Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly started the new year together. In the days and weeks ahead, there is also a good chance that the couple will walk down the aisle.
