The car shows beef between DJ Envy and Rick Ross went too far, especially when Gunplay’s family was involved. A heated phone call recently resulted in Gunplay threatening DJ Envy with a slap for mentioning his GoFundMe page during Rick Ross’ feud. Gunplay shared a video on his Instagram account of a phone call he had with DJ Envy mediated by Charlamagne Tha God on Sunday (May 29). A former Maybach Music Group artist asked Envy why his name was dragged into Rick Ross’ car show beef. Envy mentioned Gunplay’s wife’s GoFundMe account, which was posted so they could raise money for his infant daughter, who has a heart defect. Gunplay was angry about Envy’s mention. In response to Envy’s transgression, the Miami rapper threatened to beat him up.

The reason you’re talking crazy is that you know I’m going to slap you enough to put you out of your misery, Gunplay told Envy. DJ Envy apologized for mentioning the GoFundMe page but said he never spoke badly of his daughter. Gunplay, however, was not satisfied, and he demanded a public apology. According to him, my wife is affected by that, so I need a public apology. We stayed in the hospital for 28 days, homie. The s**t was some real s**t. My wife was in a panic mode when she put that up. Bringing my child into this will result in bad blood, he warned. DJ Envy apologized to Gunplay once more and promised to apologise publicly.

In A Beef With Rick Ross, Gunplay Threatens To Slap DJ Envy If He Mentions Gunplay’s GoFundMe Page For His Sick Infant

Gunplay has taken to Twitter to blast DJ Envy after the former MMG rapper posted a phone call between the two in which he demanded an apology for bringing up his daughter’s GoFundMe page. Envy criticized Rick Ross for not publicly supporting Gunplay’s GoFundMe or helping with his child’s medical bills during his car show feud last week. The ricochet shot offended Gunplay, who was not happy about his name being thrown into the mix. After their phone call posted on Monday (May 29), he demanded an apology and threatened to get physical with Envy if necessary. Why are you talking so crazy? About me my brother. Can you tell me what my wife’s GoFundMe had to do with anything? My baby was sick. There was a problem with her heart. I don’t think that has anything to do with cars. You know I’ll slap the crap out of you! Envy, for real, you know I’ll slap the crap out of you, don’t you? Envy replied: We can fight, but that’s not the reason I’m saying that… I wasn’t insulting you. I wasn’t referring to your daughter. I am speaking to you like a man if you feel disrespected. There is no way I would. I apologize if I offended you. That wasn’t my intention.

Gunplay also demanded Envy apologize when he returned to The Breakfast Club this week. He said his wife was affected by it. We spent 28 days in that hospital. It was some real shite there. It’s not even about the money. My wife is in a panic. It’s cool, I told her to chill. Don’t bring my child into this my n-gga because then we’re gonna have bad blood, dog. We did a GoFundMe – that’s not anything. At some point, Envy plans to clear the air publicly about their issues after repeatedly apologizing and explaining that he “fucks” with Gunplay. Gunplay and his partner posted a GoFundMe in February to raise money for their daughter who had emergency heart surgery. Since then, they have raised over $30,000. In the meantime, tensions between Envy and Breakfast Club co-host Rozay began this month after the MMG mogul slammed the co-host during an interview on Drink Champs, stating that he is “never on my level” when it comes to hosting car shows. Rick Ross dragged DJ Envy’s family into the feud, asking him to clean his swimming pool with his girlfriend and children after exchanging light jabs. Envy fired back last week by donning a police uniform and putting on an officer’s impression on The Breakfast Club, taking shots at Ross’ past career as a correctional officer, which has remained a source of controversy.
