After witnessing a SpaceX rocket burst, Grimes and Elon Musk’s son experienced a “three-day PTSD meltdown.” Grimes is overjoyed about her new family with Elon Musk. The “Oblivion” singer revealed a rare glimpse into her co-parenting relationship with Elon Musk, saying that their son X Æ A-12, 3, as well as daughter Exa Dark Siderael Musk, 19 months, are both following in Elon’s footsteps in terms of curiosity in life beyond the stars. “X knows a lot regarding rockets,” Grimes told Wired in an August 8 interview. “It’s insane. He is more knowledgeable about rockets than I am.” In reality, the couple’s son has a natural talent for celestial engineering. “We decided to stop giving him toys since if they’re not anatomically correct, he gets upset,” the 35-year-old continued.

Grimes and Elon Musk’s son, experienced a “three-day PTSD meltdown” after witnessing a SpaceX rocket explode. The singer has two children with the tech billionaire: 19-month-old daughter Exa Dark Siderael, known as Y, and 3-year-old boy X A-12. She spoke to Wired magazine this week about co-parenting with X’s CEO. The Canadian performer, whose real name is Claire Elise Bouchertold, told the publication that her toddler kid is already infatuated with space, following in his renowned father’s footsteps. “X is an expert on rockets. “It’s insane,” she said to Wired. “He knows a lot more regarding rockets than me.” “We had to refrain from giving him toys because he gets upset if they’re not anatomically correct,” she explained. “He’s definitely a little engineer. But his fixation with space makes me wonder, ‘Is this healthy?'” X has been observed accompanying Musk to meetings as well as rocket launches. She also described her time with Musk as the “best internship ever.” “That’s a master class in leadership & engineering,” she remarked, “and it makes you realise how rare it is to have a leader of that calibre.” She told Vanity Fair last year that their relationship is “fluid.” “There’s really no word for it,” she explained. “I would probably think of him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid.”We reside in different houses. We’re the best of buddies. We run into each other all the time…. We’re just doing our own thing, and I don’t expect anyone to comprehend it.” “This is the best it’s ever been,” she continued. We simply want to be free.”
