The “This Might Get Weird” podcast host stated that if she hadn’t mentioned the tumour during her annual gynaecologist checkup, it would have gone unreported. I had noticed a strange bulge in my left breast, but I had to talk myself into mentioning it to her during the meeting since I believed I was just a stupid little girl who didn’t understand how girl bodies functioned, she explained. While it’s unknown when Helbig’s therapy will begin, she did mention that she had a “little nano-pet-looking device” implanted in her arm. During treatment, the former “Grace Helbig Show” host confessed that she was unsure how to properly address this uncertain time in her life and suggested that she might use humor as a coping mechanism.

Grace Helbig, is speaking up about her breast cancer diagnosis. She announced her diagnosis on Monday via a video posted to her YouTube channel and Instagram account. “I’ve had an appropriate amount of time to sort through and start the process, and so I’m finally ready to share with you,” the 37-year-old said in the video, admitting that she was “very nervous” about sharing everything. She went on to tell her 2.6 million subscribers that she had been diagnosed with “triple positive breast cancer,” which she defined as “super treatable” and “highly beatable” by medical specialists. The treatment plan, according to Helbig, will include six rounds of chemotherapy, surgery, and hormone therapy. She explained, “We are going for cure, not remission here, which is very exciting, helpful, and desirable.” She recalls going to see her gynaecologist for her annual checkup a few months ago and discovering a lump on her left breast. She said that she was hesitant to bring it up because she believed that she was uneducated about her body, but she advised everyone to “be hesitant to ask the doctor what you believe could be a stupid question.” Helbig had additional tests to confirm what was going on after her gynaecologist suggested a list of surgical physicians.

I’ve spent 15 years not utilizing my boobs to garner attention on the internet, and yet here we are, and I’m declaring this during Cancer season.” “This is my job now,” Helbig continued, “and I’m going to take on this little bitch of something in my left breast as best, as strongly, and as elegantly as I can, pun intended.” Despite a “hard few weeks” after learning the news, Helbig assured followers that she is fine and “ready to take this on.” All I have to do is take it one step at a time.”
