Gabby Petito Case: Callahan Talks About The Mistakes Made in The Case

Callahan Walsh, son of John Walsh believes that the 22-year-old late Gabby Petito had gone through a domestically abusing relationship with Brian Laundrie, her fiancé. Brian Laundrie is still missing since September 14th. 

The emergency calls:

Callahan Walsh is a co-host of “In Pursuit with John Walsh” and child advocate in National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), suspects that police should have maneuver the case when replying to 2 emergency calls of Gabby and Brian conflict. 

When Law enforcement highlighted about they don’t have any information regarding the call alarming about Brian assaulting Gabby, Walsh said, “Mistakes were made”. He questions, where the mistakes were made purposefully? No! He adds, Law enforcement working off, especially they work out in the field for getting information. But, when the police show up, it becomes a scary situation, people got nervous, he says.

Walsh explaining about the dispute between Gabby and Brian:

Walsh mentions, it is evident there is a violent and stormy relationship between Gabby and Brian. As, there were multiple and different witnesses from all over the place to tell the abuse going on between both of them, but the lines go blur sometimes when it comes to who the attacker is, he explains.

Further, he says, Gabby’s friends have come forward to give details about Brian’s jealously took place. He steals Gabby’s ID and is very aggressive and so, she couldn’t go out with her friends. Walsh says, Brian is the kind of guy who has some history of domestic abuse, and their relationship was unstable and creating this unfortunate happening. He said this is an alerting way of the story for anyone in a relationship like that. 

Walsh rebuking Brian:

Gabby’s body was found in a camping area around Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, On September 19th. Also, the postmortem report says, the manner of death is Homicide. Walsh also chides Brian to take responsible for Gabby’s demise. 

Brian’s guilt made an appearance when he remains mum and runs off, Walsh points out. Also, his parents are not so willing to reveal law enforcement. Hence, it is villainizing his parents too! Now, everyone in this country can say, Brian is responsible for this, undoubtedly.

After Brian shows up at his home without Gabby; why didn’t they bombard him with questions, why they are not repeating these types of information in Law enforcement too? He boggled. These are the things both Law enforcement and Gabby’s family are fraught to know. At last, Brian’s parents said, On 14th September, he steers for Carlton Reserve in Sarasota, Fla., “with a backpack”.

Walsh chiding Brian’s parents:

He signifies, What Brian’s parents are doing for the case is absolutely not right. They must obey law enforcement and confide in everything they have known of. 

As Brian is just in “person of interest” consideration, his parents were helping him to prove he is not a fugitive. This is unjust, says Walsh. 

Furthermore, his parents were fully helping him when he was at home – they did because they don’t want to show him as a fugitive. They are aiding and abetting him since he is home till he went far away to Carlton Reserve in Sarasota, he tells without a doubt he is the suspect.
