FCC Regulator sends letter to remove Tiktok from app stores
As per reports available online, Federal Commissions Communication (FCC) Regulator Brendan Carr has issued a letter to Google and Apple. The letter has asked the heads of the two companies to remove TikTok from their app store.
The reason why it is to be out from the app store is that it has a national security risk. However, users have been in dilemma after this that whether the ban of TikTok is happening or not.
Is TikTok getting banned on 8th July?
Before knowing why the app is having a ban on 8th July. We must know why that date has popped up for banning. So, it was in the letter by Carr to the heads of Apple and Google. It stated that in case Tiktok isn’t out from the app store of the duo. Then they will have to respond to Carr by 8th July.
Hence people have been thinking if they’ll get to use the app after the 8th of July or not. Hopefully, you won’t be having the app getting ban. In fact, one of the TikTok officials has confirmed that too. Also, according to some reports, FCC can’t ban apps.

Official’s reaction to the ban of the app
As per some reports available on the internet, one of the executives of TikTok has said that there have been no security issues with the app. The claims of the ban due to security risks have been false. Hence we don’t get the app to be facing a ban for now.
However, previously the app has been rumored to its ban. Though this time the ban of the app hasn’t got confirmation by any concerned authority. This clearly means that it’s just a rumor by now.
