Fans Show Support as ITZY’s Yuna Skips Fansign for Health Reasons

JYP Entertainment announced on January 31, 2023, that ITZY’s Yuna would not participate in a fansign due to health issues. Fans on Twitter wished Yuna a speedy recovery. The event was dubbed “The 2nd Fan Meeting, ITZY MIDZY! Let’s Fly” and was scheduled for that night, January 31. Nevertheless, the agency announced that Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, and Chaeryoung will participate in the event as planned. As far as the health issues faced by Yuna were concerned, the agency did not provide details, but only informed fans of the schedule change. It was also decided that Yuna’s fansign would be postponed so that she could meet fans at a later date.

When ITZY’s fans heard the news, they were naturally saddened and began wishing her a speedy recovery. Many fans replied to the announcement by wishing Yuna a speedy recovery and cheering her on. A statement regarding Yuna’s health was released by JYP Entertainment on January 31. The ITZY fan signing planned for that night would not be attended by Yuna. Moreover, the agency announced that Yuna’s video call will be postponed to February 6 while the other members of ITZY will hold theirs according to schedule. According to JYP Entertainment, there has been a change in the schedule for the fan signing event that was scheduled for this evening due to Yuna’s health. In-person fan signings and video call events for the other four members will not be affected by this change, but Yuna’s event schedule will change to Monday, February 6, 2023, beginning at 8 p.m. KST. It was not clear what health issues Yuna was experiencing, but JYP Entertainment gave MIDZYs the assurance they needed.
