Taking over hosting duties from Taye Diggs, who helmed the show for the past four years, Handler is ready to add her own signature to the event. A lot of praise was given to American comedian Chelsea Handler for her stage presence at the Critics Choice Awards 2023. On Sunday, January 15, 2023, The CW aired the Critics Choice Awards 2023. This prestigious award ceremony recognizes the best movies and television shows, as well as top stars in the entertainment industry. In Los Angeles, California, the awards ceremony was held live at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel.
