Exposed: Loren Gray Spills the Tea on Coachella Influencers’ Embarrassing Truth

Loren Gray, a musician, and TikToker says many influencers fake attending Coachella. The TikTok video Gray posted this weekend has already received over 2.5 million views, explaining the alleged phenomenon. Her preface to the video explained that she thought it was a humorous concept and that she wanted to share it because no one else had mentioned it. Coachella is like an influencer Olympics, isn’t it? She told her 54 million followers. “This is the place to be.” The thing is, most influencers don’t even go to Coachella, and I find this baffling.
Continuing, the Piece of Work singer claimed that some of these influencers visit Indio, California, the festival’s location, and stay in Airbnbs. That’s all. They drive back, and then they’re done. As Gray explained towards the end of her 49-second clip, people shouldn’t feel “sad” or have FOMO – a “fear of missing out” – since many social media influencers that you follow aren’t actually there. Traditionally held in April, Coachella is a three-day music festival with a star-studded lineup. Celebrities make headlines for their crazy outfits and other moments that happen.
Loren Gray says a lot of influencers lie about attending Coachella:
“They just drive their little butts out to the desert to take Instagram photos, make TikToks, get ready with me's, whatever. Then they drive back, and that's it.” pic.twitter.com/eBRdsauEN9— Pop Crave (@PopCrave) April 16, 2023Advertisement
There’s Something Embarrassing About Most Influencers At Coachella According To Loren Gray
Coachella Music Festival kicked off this weekend, and Loren Gray has called out some of her influencer peers who lied about attending. A 20-year-old “Told You So” singer hopped on TikTok on Saturday (April 15) to point out that some influencers pretend to be at the popular music festival without having wristbands. It’s like the influencer Olympics at Coachella. “This is the place to be,” she said. However, most influencers do not even go to Coachella. This is such a wild fact, in my opinion. They’ll go out to the desert, she explained. Rent an Airbnb, stay with someone, buy their outfits, get their hair, and buy their makeup. Post ‘Coachella Day 1’ and ‘Coachella Day 2’ and they don’t attend. Their wristbands are missing. In the desert, they drive their little butts, make TikToks, get ready with their boyfriends, whatever. After that, they drive back, and that’s it. Loren added that if you’re feeling bored and sad, just remember that most of these people aren’t at Coachella either. Coachella takes place over the course of two weekends in April and attracts the world’s biggest music stars.

It makes headlines for the crazy outfits that people wear and for celebrity encounters – like last year, when Paris Hilton’s bodyguard chased her around the festival grounds. In addition to Charli XCX, BLACKPINK, Blondie, and Bad Bunny, the event will feature many other musical acts. Comments on Gray’s video revealed that many people had never imagined that these claims were possible. One person typed, “This seems so obvious but I didn’t realize it.” Another wrote, I was wondering how they could be ready by noon yet be “late” for the set at midnight. Even those who weren’t able to attend said watching the video helped them feel better. Another participant commented that he had never felt better about being broke. Another user seconded how much I appreciate you sharing this information. According to MTV, Gray gained fame through the social media app Musical.ly at the age of 13, which has since merged with TikTok. Eventually, Gray moved to Los Angeles and started a career as a singer and influencer on YouTube and TikTok.
I mean the festival itself sucks so I honestly think these people are doing it smarter this way. Why waste you’re actual time attending a shitty event. Lol

Also Coachella is literally the most Instagrammy festival ever but by far the worst vibe of any festival. It is made to LOOK really fun in photos and videos but the only really good thing is the caliber of artist they are able to get. Which isn’t even the case this year.

Influencers honestly are just too boring for the festival and they experience such bad vibes because they themselves are bad vibes tbh. The rest of us have a blast at Coachella. 🤷🏻♀️
